History : In 946, Richard I gave Caër Normanville to Rouen Cathedral. Roger de Beaumont, who then won the village, gave it to Saint Léger de Dreux. Normanville Castle was built in 1740 by Jean Bochard de Champigny and remained in the family until 1870. It was demolished
Monuments : the 18th century church of Normanville is under the patronage of St. Gaud. Built with stone, it includes a rectangular nave of the late 15th century and a choir in the background. It has mullioned windows, beautiful stained glass windows and an altarpiece. Many old mills on the banks of the Iton used at the time for floating wood.
